Monki

Monki, where have you been all my life? Well actually, Monki has been in most European countries, but not in the UK. Until now.

The sister brand of H&M, which launched in Sweden in 2006, has opened its first UK concession in London's Selfridges, and I can't think of enough excuses to pop in there after work.

It's quirky, edgy and cool, with a very "The Kooples" aesthetic, but its prices are ridiculously reasonable. A soft, black T-shirt I bought last week (perfect with a pencil skirt) cost only £6, and a lovely tobacco-coloured 60s style coat, which I've decided is "transitional", was just £60.

The shoes and accessories are particularly desirable, with gorgeous (faux) leather purses and bags for under a tenner and some amazing ankle boots for around £40.

You can also buy Monki online, but prices are all in Euros. So if you want the mega savings I'm talking about, you'll need to head to Selfridges. You'll probably see me in there, eyeing the dresses.
